Aviation Insider and V1Aviation are proud to partner with Flight Performance Training offer the highest standard in upset prevention training. Their instructors are made up of current airline and corporate TRI/TREs, line trainers and industry experts. Collectively the team has operated aircraft from Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault and Hawker Beechcraft in short, medium and long haul roles.

Their instructors are passionate about training and enhancing the safety of aviation with decades of experience providing instruction to pilots at all stages in their careers. Flight Performance Training have been involved in the implementation and training delivery of UPRT to the airlines and corporate operators since 2015 when it was mandated by EASA.

Flight Performance Training operates from Brighton City Airport, Britain’s oldest licensed airport on the South Coast of England. With modern facilities, hard and grass runways Flight Performance Training are able to operate all year round.

The Aircraft

The Slingsby T67 Firefly, originally produced as the Fournier RF-6, is a two-seat aerobatic training aircraft, built by Slingsby Aviation in Kirkbymoorside, Yorkshire, England. It has been successfully used by the UK armed forces, where the Royal Air Force used Slingsby T67Ms as their basic trainer between 1995 and 2010. The Slingsby has also been used by the Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force, the Royal Jordanian Air Force (still currently used), and other military training schools around the world for many years. The aircraft has full inverted capability and is stressed to +6/-3 G.
