Aviation Insider Airline Interview Preparation
It is designed to provide a hands-on experience tackling interview questions, fine tuning the candidates interview technique and ensuring you are confident before the big day! We will focus on using the STAR technique to answer questions and ensuring you are fully prepared for whatever may come your way when you go for your airline assessment.
This is all covered in a 1 hour Skype call in the exact format of a real airline interview conducted by professional trainers, all of whom are current, operating airline pilots and airline assessors for major UK and European airlines, giving you the best possible insight into current practices and requirements.
With a wealth of knowledge and decades of experience we will put you at ease and give you loads of ideas, tips and hints of what to expect so you aren’t caught of guard.
A briefing pack will be sent before the call in order to prepare certain examples of situations.
Interview Preparation Seminar
This section of the call looks at all aspects of the application process, initial aptitude and psychometric testing and technical testing. We will discuss how best to prepare for each of these hurdles before taking an in-depth look into competency interview technique. This section of the course is designed to fully prepare you for what follows later in the day.
Notechs & Threat and Error Management
Certain Airlines will want you to know about Notechs and TEM, so we will go over Notechs and TEM if applicable with a view to deepening your understanding and awareness of these types of competency areas.
Some interviews require the candidate to take part in a group exercise. We will run through the Do’s and Dont’s to do on the day.
At the end of the call our assessor will grade you on aptitude and give you relevant feedback.
Full airline interview
The majority of the call will be the interview, the important part… It will be conducted by airline assessor and will cover the following: your past experience, motivation, and competency-based questions which will cover subjects such as workload management, Decision making, working with others and situational awareness. The interview will last around 40 minutes and will be fully assessed.
